Salary: £31,948 – £35,938
A Research Assistant is required to support work on a Collaborative Research and Development project funded by the TSB and Frutarom (UK) Ltd via the recent TSB Nutrition for Life Competition. The project is entitled ‘Enhancing nutritional benfits of flavour materials with natural functional ingredients from control of production processes’. You will be required to conduct cooperative research with an emphasis on study design, laboratory work, data collection and analysis, presentations and reports to sponsors, manuscript writing, and activities leading to impact of the research.
We have a reputation for excellence in research, consultancy, undergraduate and postgraduate education, and community activity. The School through its academic departments has enjoyed a sustained period of growth and Food Science researchers have recently moved into refurbished laboratories. An exciting research culture continues to thrive in the School with significant activity focused on building upon our success in the RAE 2008 to achieve an excellent outcome in the REF 2014.
